Palazzo Litta Cultura opens the Art cinema of Milan Film Festival with a project created by the collective Alterazioni Video in collaboration with Fondazione Cariplo.
The collective consists of Paolo Luca Barbieri, Alberto Caffarelli, Matteo Herenbourg, Andrea Masu and Giacomo Porfiri realizes an unpublished project, faithful to the production-poetic line of the Turbo Film – extreme cinematographic genre, developed in constant emergency, in which the linear production rules are subverted.
Filmed in Russia and focused on the theme of fake news, the new Turbo Film is mounted live, in dialogue with the public, during the performance that opens the exhibition dedicated to them, to be presented in the hall entirely on Thursday October 4 at 22.30 at the Anteo Palazzo del Cinema in the presence of the collective.
The vernissage of the exhibition will be held Wednesday 3 October at 6.00 pm at Palazzo Litta and the exhibition will be open to the public from Thursday 4 to Sunday 7 October from 12 to 7 pm. Thursday, October 4 at 22.30 the complete work will be presented in the hall at the Anteo Palazzo del Cinema in the presence of the collective.
The artistic collective Alterazioni Video, founded in Milan in 2004, returns to collaborate with Milano Film Festival, after the presentation of Black Rain (2010) and the co-production of Hotel Milan (2012). With this collaboration, the Festival invests on the potential of today’s cinema in the artistic field, reflecting on the rarefaction of the sense of truth in the media and in the contemporary world.
